Items

A new category of items has been added: "Enhancement items".
When you combine an Enhancement Item with an armor/weapon/shield it will somewhat change the stats of the item. Different Enhancement items change different stats. not all are positive.
Some of the Enhancement items require you to have a certain level in a certain skill to be able to use them.
New Risar axes now have a custom model.
Modified rewards on Risar and Megnaton brains.
You can no longer destroy an item while its stack is being split.
The torch flame has returned!
You can now split an item, then place it outside you inventory to destroy ONLY the split part.

Skills

Added some more skill information.
A new skill, “Beast Influence” has been added. With this skill you can be further away from you pet without having it de-aggro too quickly.
A new skill, “Beast Mastery” has been added. This is a skill that is used to unlock attacks of pets. Non tamed pets will used their level to decide which attacks they may use.
Tamed pets use half their level and half your Beast Mastery skill to determine which attacks they may use.
You will now gain experience in Connections each time you successfully convince a guard to let you go.
Animal Care will now skill up in-game while having creatures with the same level or higher than your Animal Care level.
You can now cook players’ heads again!

AI

Tamed creatures can now only be set to attack clients and other AI.
Trying to mount an untamed pet will now give you an error message.
Trying to mount while carrying too much will now give you a message.
Fixed a typo in mount messages.
Pet damage is now shown in the pet window as damage per attack rather than DPS.
Pet AOE attacks will now damage targets that would turn them and you grey.
“All Pets” commands now have the same range as single pet commands.
Pets now lose only 10 loyalty when sent to attack rather than 20.
Pets will now de-aggro faster if you are further away from them.
Tamed pets that lose aggro will now go into follow owner mode instead of standing idle.
Molvas and Lykiators have had a slight modification to their armor and natural defenses.
Molvas, Horses and Lykiators have had their HP regeneration slightly modified.
Molvas and Lykiators have had their cool down on Strong Attacks slightly modified.
Correct attack types have been added to all horses.
Certain Risars have had their HP and attacks modified.
Greatly reduced knockdown power on all mounts except on the Bull Molva.
Jotun Horses have been given a very small bonus to knockdown power.
Some small changes in Megnaton domination requirement and Pet Point cost have been made.
Minor changes on Minotaur Pet Point cost and abilities have been made.
Minor damage changes on some animals and beasts in the world have been made.
Slightly reduced the HP on the Greater Kimuru.

Server/Client Optimizations

Added some better checks to make sure players do not send unneeded animations to other players.
Further optimized the server the changes should make the server faster and more stable.
A better system for handling looting has been built. This should help alleviate loot lag.
Added the same new looting system to chests, houses and snooping.

UI

Crosshair targets will now update better when your target updates. This should solve issues with crosshair showing the wrong name or flag.
A new UI option to disable the new window animations has been added.
Tooltips will now position correctly on scaled windows in lower screen resolutions.
Paperdoll lighting has been adjusted. It should now be brighter.

World

Lightning has been adjusted world-wide.
Added atmospheric color changes within the temple dungeon.
More grass has grown around Myrland.
Night is a little darker again, but not too dark as to require gamma adjustment.

Bug fixes

Fixed an issue wherein UI configurations would not load correctly.
Fixed an issue wherein sleeping players sometimes would not cancel their animation upon stopping sleeping.
AI magic resistance should now work as intended.
Fixed a client crash in the stable UI.
Fixed a logout crash.
A possible fix for a rare issue wherein you would logout, but server would think you disconnected has been implemented.
Bull Horse armor colors should now correctly work.
Fixed an issue wherein tamed pets would not correctly tick their aggro if in passive mode.
Fixed an issue wherein traded items could get lost when traded directly from the bank.
Fixed issue wherein dominated creatures would save as if they were tamed meaning they could be made into receipts, etc.
Resolved a memory-leak which would cause some crashes around Tindrem.
Books will no longer give false messages about not having required skills when opened.
Fixed a bugged collision on the Greater Kimuru
Fixed some missing attacks on Guardians and ancient Guardians.

Hey everyone!

Beast master books did end up in wrong npc, they are currently hold by the librarian veteran in GK.
They will be moved to the Animist in the next patch.

The Beast mastery skill adds 50 lvls on 100 skill, while the pets is half in lvl when owned by a pet owner. This means you can only reach to unlock lvl 100 attacks currently, this will also be changed in the next patch which will unlock up to lvl 125 attacks.


Large scale population
Now to a very nice news.
Yesterday there was a large scale war that was carefully monitored which pinpointed one issue that leads to lowest tracker levels did not update, which results in players being stuck in humanoid state for quite some time, when the packets gets updated they disappear / teleports to their correct location. This may cause players getting hit by these players that did not update the packages correctly. We have identified the variable that affects this and will change this that we believe will solve this issue. This is on the server side and have already been added to be effective in the next reboot.

This means, whenever we reboot there should be a large difference in properly update large scale population. So to confirm these changes we have made we need a new big fight or big population meeting. Hopefully we have some players interested in helping to verify this.

Lets get back to this after our next reboot.

Wollte nur es so mal loswerden.
Ich bin einer der vielen stillen Leser von Xunila.
Wollte mich bei ihm bedanken das er uns die Mo Fans immer auf dem laufenden hält.
Ich bin täglich hier unterwegs und hoffe das die Deutschespielergemeinschaft weiterhin erhalten bleibt.
Und sich vllt zur alten Glanz hoch hebt wie in den alten guten Zeiten.
