The new broker tool, will be able to support more and smarter orders both for buy and sell.
Armor set sell features etc.

Its absolutely way to restricted on live, and this is such a big part of the core game, so we really need to expand on this, and give many attractive tools to the players that want to trade and run a business.

So in short, yes you will be able to place more sell orders in the new broker system.

Players will be able to trade and communicate, place order requests demands etc.
Using services and tools, npcs or not as a tool and middleman... Of course manual trade may be efficient as well, not using brokers.

But we can clearly see how important a well suited broker system for MO is needed today. I think it will bring more joy and ways to make exciting business in game using these systems.

We are currently evaluating and testing the possibility to have functions to list and display things more globally using area. But yes, like you said, you will never be able to buy globally.

We are connecting this to the TC, where players control land and space, in which they can list things on distance etc. Connecting their influences with broker system. So we really trying to make perfect us of this system with TC and to make sure it fits MOs core when it comes to no global replacements.

Well we all know balance is not at its best when it comes to resource locations and skills/refining locations.
Something we plan to slowly get in the right direction to promote player run economy and trading. So this is all connected. When a located gets more used resources and demands in cities that is far away from producing that, then trades starts to get interesting here, and being able to market your demands over distances starts to show where these locations are and how players may start do good business using this real life based economy variables. But we indeed have work and balance left to do to help the economy get going for sure. Things will slowly get into place, when we get more resource areas, more land, more demand and sales, better tools to help with all this.
